MAG was established to create more viable pathways for employers to engage apprentices. We take on the responsibility of employing apprentices full time, so you can have the low-risk, affordable, flexible workforce you need. Our apprentices are available for contracts as short as one week.

OHS & COMPLIANCE
OHS is a team effort. At MAG we take the safety of our employees and clients seriously. We work closely with your business and can provide assistance where necessary to ensure compliance
HOST EMPLOYER AGREEMENT
We will draw up your Host Employer Agreement, which outlines your obligations in supporting the apprentice throughout their contract with you.
EXPERIENCE Vs EXPOSURE
By partnering with MAG, you are playing a vital role in helping to train tomorrows tradespeople. Whilst an apprentice can provide a cost-effective workforce solution they are not a qualified tradesperson. Apprentices rely on supervision, instruction and patience in order to grow. In return, you can rely on our apprentices to have great work ethic, attitude and willingness to learn.
ADMINISTRATION
Working with MAG you can ensure we do all the paperwork. All administrative duties leaving you free to get on with the job at hand.
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
The MAG team will manage the performance of the apprentice throughout their agreed placement with you. With regular consultation between MAG and the supervisors we rely heavily on honest, constructive feedback on the performance of our apprentices.

HOW TO BECOME A HOST EMPLOYER
- Providing a safe working environment that is free from bullying, discrimination, and harassment.
- Providing a comprehensive introduction to the workplace.
- Providing continuous supervision and support.
- Ensuring all work undertaken by the apprentice is relevant to their trade.
- Providing opportunities for the apprentice to develop knowledge and skill in their chosen trade.
- Participating in the development of their training (when applicable).
- Ensuring that you adhere to MAG terms and conditions of business.

SHORT & LONG TERM CONTRACTS
No commitment to your business to employ an apprentice for the duration of their apprenticeship. Contracts as short as one week.

COMMITMENT TO SAFETY
MAG is committed to providing safe work environments for our apprentices through regular OHS site audits.
ADMINISTRATION & PAYROLL
We take care of all the administration associated with hiring new apprentices
RTO & TRAINING CONTRACT
MAG will manage the administration associated with offthe job training and the registration of the apprenticeship with the State Training Authorities.
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
Regular consultation will be made on the performance of the apprentice.
SAFETY FIRST AS A HOST EMPLOYER
All employers are responsible for the health and safety of their workers in the workplace.
As a host employer engaging apprentices, it is your duty to treat them as though they were your own employee. Dealing with unskilled apprentices requires constant supervision at all times.
Effective consultation and communication between the host employer, MAG, and the apprentice are essential to providing a safe work environment.
You must at all times ensure that the proper workplace procedures are in place, such as site inductions, SWMS, Hazard and Risk Assessment procedures, First Aid, and Emergency Management Plans.
MAG is here to help ensure we are all meeting our OHS/WHS obligations and will assist in providing any additional support required.
